One in four of UK men watches hard-core porn

Posted on Tuesday, May 30 2006 @ 12:05:27 CEST by Thomas De Maesschalck

A survey revealed a record number of people are downloading porn from the Internet in the UK. According to the survey 9 million men and 1.4 million women downloaded pornography from the web.
Campaigners fear that as computer porn becomes more widespread it will give more men unrealistic expectations of their love lives and threaten couples' relationships.

There are also concerns that the growing number of people hooked on adult sites will fuel demand for illegal material such as child abuse.

More than nine million men - almost 40 per cent of the adult male population - logged on to sex websites last year, more than four times as many as the estimated two million in 2000.

The number of women downloading Internet porn soared 30 per cent to 1.4million.
More details over at Daily Mail.
