ATI Radeon X1950XT to have 256MB

Posted on Monday, July 31 2006 @ 23:51:53 CEST by Thomas De Maesschalck

The Inq reports the Radeon X1950XT will have 256MB memory.
Radeon X1950 XT will have 256MB of memory and should also work at a 2.0GHz frequency. It will use the fastest GDDR 4 memory and will naturally use a 256 bit interface. This card will likely be ATI's answer to the very sucessful Geforce 7900 GT series and should be in the same price range.

It looks like the key difference will be the memory size and it will end up cheaper than the projected €399 to €415 for X1950 XTX card.
