DOJ subpoenas AMD over potential antitrust violations

DigiTimes reports AMD received a subpoena from the U.S. Department of Justice regarding an investigation into potential antitrust violations related to the GPU and graphics card market.
AMD entered the graphics processor business following the company's acquisition of ATI Technologies. The DOJ has not made any specific allegations against AMD or ATI, and AMD intends to cooperate with the investigation, the company said.
