Madden NFL 07 best selling game of the year

You wonder why EA continues to pump out dozens of recycled games year after year? Probably because they keep selling well. The game firm released a press release this week, calling its Madden NFL 07 the best selling game of the year 2006.
More than 5 million copies of this game were sold on a total of ten game platforms, including PCs, Wii, PlayStation and Xbox consoles.
More than 2 million copies were sold during the first week and the game currently ranks in the top ten on six platforms. It's the top-selling game on the PlayStation 2 and Xbox (1). It is also one of the top selling games for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii consoles.
