Budget System Building Guide

Posted on Wednesday, January 03 2007 @ 06:20:44 CET by

OCIA.net has posted their updated Budget System Building Guide, one of three in a series of system building articles.

"The AMD Athlon 64 3800+ Windsor dual core processor will give you plenty of bang for your buck, and coupled with the TForce motherboard, offers lots of headroom for overclocking. It is not uncommon to see these chips hit 2.5 GHz+ on stock air cooling. We chose the retail version because it comes with AMD's 3 year warranty and an adequate stock heatsink. Sure, you can get better cooling from most aftermarket heatsinks, but remember, we are on a budget here.
