    Windows Vista Gaming Performance Reports

Posted on Monday, January 29 2007 @ 14:41:31 CET by Thomas De Maesschalck

Techgage published another part of their series on Windows Vista. In this article they take a look at the performance of Microsoft's new operating system.

They benchmark in games like Half-Lfe 2, Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter, Elder Scrolls: Oblivion, Quake 4 and more.
Will using Vista put a damper on your gaming addiction? When we took a look at Beta 2 this past summer, we saw rather large performance decreases. Now that Vista is finally out, have things been improved?
So what's their conclusion? Well, it's that Windows Vista's performance isn't really impressive. In most cases the Windows XP system scored better than Windows Vista.
