Lenovo ThinkCentre A55 SSF desktop PC launched

Posted on Tuesday, January 30 2007 @ 08:15:45 CET by Thomas De Maesschalck

Lenovo presents its new ThinkCentre A55 SSF PC. The company says this desktop PC is 64% smaller than its regular desktop PCs and 25% smaller than its conventional small desktop computers. Lenovo explains this gives users more room for other items like an extra monitor or a printer and scanner.

“We are seeing an increased adoption of small form factor desktops in settings such as healthcare, education, financial institutions and call-centers,” said Tom Tobul, executive director, desktop marketing, Lenovo. “Adding the ThinkCentre A55 Small Form Factor desktop PC to our ThinkCentre line gives small-to-medium business users access to the best engineered PCs in a small, full-featured design. These PCs give users the latest innovations like the new Windows Vista operating system and our innovative ThinkVantage Technologies in a compact form.”

The ThinkCentre A55 SFF desktop is available right now, prices start at $579.
