Intel 965G runs Aero Glass fine

Posted on Sunday, February 25 2007 @ 03:04:15 CET by Thomas De Maesschalck

The Inq did a test and found out that the Intel G965 chipset runs Windows Vista's Aero Glass pretty fine.
Vista performance tool scores 3.8 and the handsome looking interface looks the same on Nvidia's and ATI's discrete graphic cards. You need to get the new Intel driver in order to make it work well. This test and benchmarketing idea comes after our conversation with Josh Newman, Intel's chipset product marketing director who claimed that the G965 as well as 945G and 945GM run Vista Aero "beautifully". We can now confirm that G965 doesn’t have any problems chewing the Aero Glass cud.
