List of Windows Vista compatible software applications

Posted on Monday, February 26 2007 @ 17:29:41 CET by Thomas De Maesschalck

Last week Microsoft published a list with over 800 software programs that are compatible with Windows Vista.
The tables in the "More Information" section list the products that currently have earned the "Certified for Windows Vista" logo or the "Works with Windows Vista" logo. There are many applications that are compatible and work well with Windows Vista but that are not listed in this article. This is because such applications have not yet gone through the Windows Vista logo program or are still going though this program. New applications are continually being added to the program. For the most up-to-date information about this program, run the Microsoft Application Compatibility Toolkit 5.0 or visit the Windows Marketplace Web site. You can also download the Windows Vista Upgrade Advisor to check individual computers.
Many popular applications haven't received the "Certified for Windows Vista" or "Works with Windows Vista" logo yet. This includes all software from Adobe, Apple, and several other software makers.
