    NVIDIA MCP68 arrives in March

Posted on Wednesday, February 28 2007 @ 18:41:39 CET by Thomas De Maesschalck

In March at CEBIT we can expect the new MCP68 from NVIDIA, this chipset will compete with AMD's new 690G.
PCPop has received some information from OEM manufacturer, CTHIM on their latest ZM-NC68-L board based on MCP68V chipset (NF-7050-630A) that uses GeForce 7050 graphics core supporting DX9 and SM3.0.

This board comes with a PCIe x16 slot for discrete graphics card.

There will be 2 SKUs, MC68PV for the high end and MCP68S for the value to compete against 690G and 690V respectively. Its successor MCP 78 will support DX10.
