Intel Boulder Creek platform arrives in 2008

Intel is working on a new dual-core and quad-core platforms for this year and 2008.

Intel's next Salt Creek chipset will have Core 2 Duo and Quad processors and is powered by the P35 and G33 Express chipsets and with Intel Gigabit LAN.

In the first quarter of next year Salt Creek will get quad-core Yorkfield and dual-core Wolfdale support.

A quarter later we can expect Boulder Creek, this platform will feature the Eaglelake chipset family, Intel Gigabit LAN and the optional Turbo Memory technology
