    Product design change for Pentium 4 2.4C and 3.0C

    Intel today informs us about a small product design chance for the Intel Pentium 4 2.40C and 3.0C processors.
  • M-0 Core Processor Stepping Change Addition
  • The CPUID will be 0F25h for M-0 Step.
  • M-0 step is pin compatible with D-1 step.
  • More information about why they changed these things is not available.
    According to Intel the first processors with this design change will be available from the 1st of December 2003.
