    ASUS notebooks get free accidental damage warranty

    ASUS announced U.S. and Canadian users now get one year of accidental damage warranty for free when they purchase a notebook from ASUS. This warranty covers drops, fire, liquid spills and power surges.
    The benefits of this program will apply to US and Canadian users who purchase their ASUS notebook computers on or after Sept. 10, 2007.

    ASUS' notebook computers are developed utilizing advanced technology with user-friendly design in mind. ASUS is strongly aware that the best way to gain the confidence of customers is to constantly challenge itself. Enhancing high quality assurance and customer trust has always been ASUS' foremost goals. "We want our notebook users know that we are completely dedicated to their total product satisfaction." said Jackie Hsu, President of ASUS Computer International.

    To notebook users, accidents are unavoidable, and the costs associated with them can add up. The company therefore guarantees that if their ASUS notebooks are damaged by drops, spills, fire, or electrical surges, the notebooks will be covered. The company also offers its customers the convenience of assistance 24/7 technical support.
