According to DigiTimes NVIDIA will use TSMC to manufacture entry-level 80nm GeForce 7000 series GPUs:
The GeForce 7000 series chipsets have already proceeded into the wafer start stage at TSMC, the paper wrote. Nvidia will let its subcontracted motherboard makers produce motherboards equipped with the chipsets and later pass the finished goods to its motherboard partners for branded sales, according to the paper, which added that this strategy will grow corresponding shipments considerably and fill TSMC's capacity.
