We have reported Gamer HUD before. In those time we think other brand’s 8800GT flashed with Gigabyte’s bios can also use the applications. But now Gigabyte adds a power control chip on the card and it made our idea become impossible.

The chip is called “Voltage Gear Overdrive”. With the chip and the software Gamer HUD, users can adjusting the GPU voltage for 3D gaming, or save some powers from the electtricty intensive 8800GT.

Gamer HUD comprises 3 parts:
1. eXtreme: raise GPU voltage.
2. Dynamic power saving: save power when user don’t run 3D applications.
3. Ultra Durable 2: let GAMER HUD can work under more stable environment.
