Patriot debuts 1800MHz DDR3 memory kit

Posted on Thursday, February 28 2008 @ 02:06:29 CET by Thomas De Maesschalck

Patriot Memory has added a new 1800MHz model to its Viper DDR3 memory lineup.

This new PC2-14400 DDR3 module runs at 1800MHz with 8-8-8-20 timings and a voltage of 1.9V.

The kit is available in 2GB capacities and features Patriot's Viper Heat Shields with integrated Aluminum Copper Composite (AAC). Patriot says these Viper modules support Intel's Extreme Memory Profile (XPM), this means the chipset will automatically detect the correct SPD settings.
