OCZ releases PC3700 Enhanced Bandwidth DDR modules

Posted on Wednesday, April 21 2004 @ 12:55:07 CEST by Thomas De Maesschalck

OCZ has announced PC3700 Enhanced Bandwidth DDR memory in single and dual channel kits. Each PC3700 module has an integrated copperplatinum heatspreader, and they are rated for CL3-3-2-8 (CAS-TRCD-TRP-TRAS) at 2.8V.
" With PC-3700 EB DDR, OCZ has addressed the latency issues that have been associated with high speed memory for so long " said Dr. Michael Schuette, director of technology development with OCZ Technology Group. "OCZ has spent a considerable amount of time developing memory that is able to run high speeds at 3-3-2 timings and we are very pleased with the end results."

Under many conditions, OCZ PC-3700 EB Platinum DDR modules are capable of maintaining 3-2-2 latency settings to allow enthusiasts even more aggressive settings if they wish to tweak their systems
