BFG GeForce 9600 GT OC2 launched

Posted on Saturday, March 29 2008 @ 00:25:09 CET by Thomas De Maesschalck

BFG released a new overclocked GeForce 9600 GT OC2 graphics card. This new unit features a 690MHz core, 1750MHz shaders and 512MB memory clocked at 1880MHz. A standard GeForce 9600 GT has a 650MHz core, 1625MHz shaders and 1800MHz memory.
“The BFG NVIDIA GeForce 9600 GT OC2 512MB graphics card offers the same powerfully immersive entertainment experience as standard models, but is OC2 overclocked to deliver improved frame rates and better overall performance in the hottest Microsoft DirectX 10 games”, said John Malley, senior director of marketing for BFG Technologies. “Couple two BFG NVIDIA GeForce 9600 GT OC2 graphics cards together with an NVIDIA nForce motherboard for an optimal graphics platform, giving you the gaming horsepower to handle the most demanding games with NVIDIA SLI technology.”

The card has a MSRP of $249.99.
