NVIDIA and VIA to form new VN platform

NVIDIA and VIA are cooperating on a new VN platform that will feature VIA's C7 and C8 processors and NVIDIA's IGP chipsets.
Sources at Taiwanese motherboard makers say this platform will compete against the Intel Nettop, Netbook and MID products.
The first VN platform-based products are expected in Q1 2009.
