"Half Life 2 to be launched in August"

Not only Doom III is planned for August according to some sources could be that Half Life 2 is going to be launched also in August, 2004.
AFTER WE FILED our earlier Doom 3 story we were contacted by someone that knows ATI affairs and told that big Gabe Newell from Valve said that Valve wants to ship its Half Life 2 game in August as well.
From this article you can learn why it's so important for ATI to have Half Life 2 as soon as possible on the market since, as the famous Limp Bizkit said: "I'll eat you alive". This is what Nvidia marketing hopes to be singing to ATI due to the lack of Half Life 2 while it has Doom 3 in its mitts.
