Intel to buy northbridge chipsets from NVIDIA and SiS?

Word is going around that Intel may place orders for northbridge chipsets from NVIDIA and SiS to make up for the drop in supply due to the earthquake that hit China on Monday.

One of Intel's fabs was cut off from power and water supply and while production resumed on Friday the suspension did affect Intel's supply of chips to Taiwanese motherboard makers.
