    ATI Catalyst 8.5 Analysis - XP & Vista

    We’re not far away from going ‘out with the old and in with the new’ as the launch of the 4k series of AMD graphics card close in upon us. This month, looking through the release notes for the latest incarnation of Catalyst drivers we see that a few performance increases have been promised. Maybe AMD are hard at work on the 4k series of cards and have figured out how to extract some more power out of the aging 3k ones in the process. We’ll see if these performance increases translate to any of the games we use.
