    Intel started shipping the Intel Pentium 4 560 (3.60GHz)

    Intel has started shipping their Pentium 4 3.60GHz , also known as Intel Pentium 4 560. This ship was announced in mid-June, but did not make immediate appearance in shops.

    This processor runs at 3.60GHz with an 800MHz FSB, has HT and SSE3 technologies and comes in the LGA775 form-factor. It can use up to 115W of power and requires motherboards to support Platform Compatibility Guide 04B.

    According to the Japanese Akiba PC Hotline site stores in Tokyo, Japan are selling the Intel Pentium 4 560 for $720 to $730. In the USA two webstores are listening this processor for $720 and $745. Intel's official price in 1,000 unit quantities is $637.

    And also Dell is now offering workstations and desktops with the Intel Pentium 4 560.
