Posted on Saturday, May 31 2008 @ 20:47:17 CEST by Thomas De Maesschalck

Computex is coming near so in the next couple of days you can expect a lot of new products from all your favorite companies. Scythe for instance just released a new budget hard drive cooler nicked Ika Kaze HDD cooler, this unit uses a silent 100mm fan to keep your hard drive a bit cooler.
Introducing the valuable budget priced Hard Disk Cooler. All original designed by Scythe (both the heatsink frame and cooling fan) to make this Hard Disk as thin as possible in the market. Despite of the super thin dimensions (100 x 100 x 12mm), the cooling contribution to cool the Hard Disk is focused as well as no compromise in silence by using the silent fan 1000rpm at 14,5dBA. The heatsink frame and cooling fan unit covers nearly the entire Hard Disk to cool most of the components on the Hard Disk.
The Scythe Ika Kaze HDD cooler will be available for 6.95EUR excl. VAT ($11).
