OCZ Announces PC2-5300 DDR2 Performance Products

Posted on Thursday, July 29 2004 @ 07:27:13 CEST by Thomas De Maesschalck

OCZ has announced the release of their PC2-5300 DDR2 Performance Series family. These memory modules run at DDR2 667MHz and are made to run at 4-4-4 timings at a voltage of 1.8V.

"OCZ has finally produced a PC2-5300 DDR2 module which exceeds the effective performance levels of our DDR1 low latency products," said Dr. Michael Schuette, Director of Technology Development at OCZ Technology Group. "At the same time, the 667MHz module provides nearly 50% greater bandwidth therefore processing more data and optimizing speed."

OCZ Technology will be shipping PC2-5300 DDR2 products immediately. There are four different kits available: 512MB module, 1GB module, 1GB Dual-channel (2x512MB) or 2GB Dual-channel (2x1024MB).
