NVIDIA 55nm G200b to slay Radeon HD 4870 X2?

NVIDIA is poised to keep the performance crown in the high-end graphics card maker, Nordic Hardware claims the GPU maker is planning to get a new chip out by September that will offer a real challenge to AMD's upcoming Radeon HD 4870 X2. It's not sure what this chip will be but the site expects it's a 55nm version of the GeForce GTX 280.
Somehow just having the fastest card around didn't pan out. NVIDIA is firm in its belief though and from we've heard it has another card that will dethrone Radeon HD 4870X2 when it arrives (we do expect 4870X2 to take GeForce GTX 280 and so does NVIDIA apparently). It has not been confirmed, but it may very well be something 55nm, most likely G200b.
