Intel X58 motherboard is Smackover

FUD Zilla writes the X58 reference motherboard from Intel will be called Smackover, this product will arrive in Q4 2008.The chipset can cope with three channel DDR3 and it comes paired with ICH10R. The CPU that works with this board is codenamed Bloomfield and it’s the first 45nm Nehalem class CPU that fits in socket LGA1366.
The board is an ATX design and it will support multiple graphics cards, but most likely Crossfire only.
