    HP unveils list of notebooks with faulty GPUs

    HP follows Dell by making public which of its notebooks may be troubled by faulty GPUs from NVIDIA. The PC maker also states this warranty problem has been known since late last year.

    If you have one of the following 24 notebooks and meet certain criteria you might be eligible for free repair:
  • HP Pavilion dv20xx, dv21xx, dv22xx, dv23xx, dv24xx, dv60xx, dv61xx, dv62xx, dv63xx, dv64xx, dv90xx, dv92xx, dv93xx and dv94xx
  • Compaq Presario v30xx, v31xx, v32xx, v33xx, v34xxn v60xx, v61xx, v62xx, v63xx and v64xx.
