PhysX tested on GeForce 9500 GT

Posted on Saturday, August 02 2008 @ 00:22:14 CEST by Thomas De Maesschalck

German computer site ComputerBase ran some PhysX benchmarks on NVIDIA's new sub-$100 GeForce 9500 GT graphics cards. The site compared the card against Intel's QX9770 3.2GHz CPU with a GeForce 9800 GT (without PhysX) and similar systems with PhysX-enabled GeForce 9800 GT and GeForce 9800 GTX+ graphics cards.

In the special Heatray-level in Unreal Tournament 3 the PhysX-enabled GeForce 9500 GT is about 67% faster than a QX9770 + GeForce 9800 GT without PhysX.
