Support for DirectX 10.1 is one of the big sales points of the Radeon HD 3000 and 4800 series graphics cards but unfortunately for ATI there's just no support for the game developers. FUD Zilla reports that ATI has only two titles that will make use of the DirectX 10.1 API and they aren't exactly blockbusters:
ATI plans to introduce two new titles that will make use of DirectX 10.1. ATI has managed to convince Phenomic and Sega to implement this latest iteration of DirectX in their new games.

Phenomic is working on a game called Batleforge while Sega plans to release Storm Rise. These will enrich the DirectX 10.1 titles but there is still no many major game that are going ATI's way.

You need to put some cash inside to actually make DirectX 10.1 get in the game, but it is obvious that Nvidia with its The way its meant to be played is doing a much better job.
