Intel 915GB and 915GL chipsets to be available in late August and September

Posted on Monday, August 16 2004 @ 18:18:33 CEST by Thomas De Maesschalck

Intel's 915GV and 915GL integrated graphics chipsets for the entry-level market will be available on August 30 and September 22, respectively, according to DigiTimes.
The 915GV supports DDR2 and an 800MHz FSB (front-side bus), while the 915GL supports dual-channel DDR400 memory and a 533MHz FSB. Although both chips support socket LGA775 processors, they cannot support discrete PCIe graphics cards, according to the makers.
