    Microsoft announced Hotmail Plus service

Posted on Wednesday, August 18 2004 @ 21:39:31 CEST by Thomas De Maesschalck

Micrisoft announced the new Hotmail Plus service. Users that have paid for the MSN Hotmail Extra Storage space will get additional functionalities for free starting in september: this includes 2GB of space, and attachements up to 20MB.

Further they won't get any graphics advertisements anymore and their account won't be deleted after 30 days.

The free version of Hotmail will also get a few upgrades. Like already announced before users of Hotmail will receive 250MB of space. Also Microsoft has added the MSN Calendar and additional virus protection.

MSN Hotmail Plus will be available for 19.99EUR a year (for US users probably an amount close to $19.99.)
