Hiper proudly announced their Hiper PSUs Type M 780 & 880 are now 80 Plus Bronze certified.
The HPU-4M780 780W model has a typical efficiency of 87.29% and the HPU4M880 880W version scored a typical efficiency of 87.40%.
The first two PSU models of the Hiper Type M series, which ever have been submitted to www.80plus.org, got certified as 80 PLUS® Bronze. Both PSUs performed extremely well with a typical efficiency of 87.29% (HPU-4M780) and 87.40% (HPU4M880) and exceeded the requirements by far.
A quick look at the 80 Plus website unveils there are now 110 power supplies with 80 Plus Bronze certification. So far there are only 20 with 80 Plus Silver and only three with 80 Plus Gold.
