    Blizzard denies WoW2 MMO

Posted on Tuesday, October 21 2008 @ 08:00:29 CEST by Thomas De Maesschalck

In an interview with Wired, Blizzard CEO Mike Morhaime denied the firm's new MMO will be related to World of Warcraft. It will be an entirely different game:
"We’re not trying to replace World of Warcraft with this new MMO. We’re trying to create a different massively multiplayer experience, and hopefully World of Warcraft will still be going strong when that one is released," said Mike.

"So let’s just say it’s going to be different and it’s not going to be a sequel to World of Warcraft. It will be different," he added.
Let the speculation begin! Is Blizzard working on World of Diablo, World of Starcraft, or perhaps something completely different?
