    Maxtor starts shipping Ultra 16 S-ATA drives

    HARD DRIVE MAKER Maxtor said it has started shippings it Serial ATA Ultra 16 hard drive kits which offer 16MB buffers. The Ultra16 kits are intended for people wanting to upgrade their systems with capacities of drives up to 300GB.
