    Intel to introduce 3.46GHz 2MB EE chip on 1st November

    THE LATEST DESKTOP roadmaps that Intel is showing its partners reveals that it will introduce a 3.46GHz Extreme Edition chip with 2MB of L3 cache on the first of November, while it has a 3.73GHz Pentium 4 EE with 2MB cache slated for later in the quarter. It will price the P4PXE, which uses a 1066MHz front side bus at $1,000, and that's what the 3.73MHz P4PXE will cost when it's introduced later
