ISS size compared to scifi spaceships

Posted on Sunday, November 30 2008 @ 18:21:03 CET by Thomas De Maesschalck

Just for the fun of it, Gizmodo compared the size of the International Space Station (ISS) with a couple of fictional spaceships like the Colonial Viper Mk1, a Corellian corvette, the USS Enterprise NCC-1701-A, and the new Battlestar Galactica.

The result is pretty interesting, with its solar panels expanded the ISS actually looks pretty big, it's almost half the size of the USS Enterprise.
