    NVIDIA GT300 GPU already in Q1 2009?

Posted on Tuesday, December 16 2008 @ 17:08:01 CET by Thomas De Maesschalck

Sources at GPU makers told DigiTimes the NVIDIA GT300 GPU is slated for the first quarter of 2009. However, it appears the chip will still use the 55nm process.

The site also backs up other rumours that NVIDIA plans to introduce two new 55nm GeForce GTX 200 series cards at CES 2008, on January 8. This includes the dual-GPU GeForce GTX 295 and the GeForce GTX 285.

The new cards will allegedly feature 10-15 percent higher clockspeeds, while using 10-15 percent less power.
