ThermalTake ToughPower XT has status LED

Posted on Thursday, January 08 2009 @ 14:32:04 CET by Thomas De Maesschalck

ThermalTake shows off its new ToughPower XT power supplies at CES, these units feature indicator LEDs that can help you to discover what's wrong with your PC:
Toughpower XT Series is entirely different from the power supply Thermaltake made especially for gamers and enthusiasts in the past. Toughpower XT is equipped with a three-position FanDelayCool switch that controls how long the fan should continue to operate after system shutdown. FanDelayCool is a brand new feature that ensures the PSU is completely and thoroughly cooled after you shut down your PC. Toughpower XT also utilizes S.P.T. Indicator LEDs to indicate the standby mode, the power good signal, and the temperature of your PSU, bringing you the real-time monitoring over the power supply. Besides, Toughpower XT is also equipped with S.F.C. (Smart Fan Control) Quiet for the quietest operation, 12Vin1 for the best compatibility, and High Quality Japanese Capacitors for superb performance and reliability.

Here's a video that explains the new features of the ToughPower XT series:
