Posted on Thursday, January 29 2009 @ 15:01:07 CET by Thomas De Maesschalck

Kingston introduced a new series of SDHC memory cards for HD camcorders, they are available in capacities of 4GB, 8GB and 16GB. At a quality setting of 9Mb/s, these cards offer one hour, two hours, and four hours of storage capacity for HD video.

The cards have a Class 4 speed rating, meaning they can transfer data at a speed of at least 4MB/s.

The 4GB card is immediately available for 9.81EUR (excl. VAT), the other two cards will arrive later this quarter.
