Intel's Poulsbo Driver A Bloody Mess?

Posted on Saturday, January 31 2009 @ 20:46:14 CET by Thomas De Maesschalck

Intel outsourced the development of their Poulsbo graphics driver, which turned out to be a bloody mess for Intel's customers. The driver hasn't been updated in months and is struck with limitations. Intel also prides itself upon its open-source support, yet there are two binary blobs within this half-working driver for some Intel Atom systems.
