    Nawaiya debuts Turion 64 based PalmTop

    TBreak reports Nawaiya has introduced a netbookish device based on the Dual Core AMD Turion 64 X2 1.2GHz processor. The PalmTop has a 7" touchscreen and a discrete ATI graphics card with 128MB memory.
    The PalmTop is a state-of-the-art 7’’ touch screen mini notebook designed to revolutionize content consumption on the go. Powered by AMD TURION 64x2 Dual Core processor, the PalmTop is packs in a number of distinctive features for discerning users.

    Weighting 713g, the PalmTop features a full-out AMD TURION 64x2 Dual Core 1.2GHz Processor, 128 MB of ATI discrete graphics power, 1GB RAM with windows XP (Windows 7 Capable), Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity , 7-inch LCD touch screen with 1024x600 resolution and dual monitor support (up to 1920x1200), 1.3M Webcam, and verity of storage capacity between SSD and HDD.

    Competing with all notebook in the market, the PalmTop comes with 3G mobile (HSDPA) connectivity built-in for Nawaiya’s business mobile customers. “End-users in this region are always on the go, they need small, powerful, anywhere connectivity, yet stylish convergence hand-held device to connect them to their business”, said Samer Suheil, Managing Director of Nawaiya.

    The PalmTop offers full mobile functionality within the same device and enables users to access content, enjoy high-quality music and video playback and browse the full web – a first in the market place for this kind of device.

    The PalmTop runs Microsoft’s Windows XP and it is capable to the new Microsoft’s Windows 7 operating system; and employs a proprietary touch –screen user interface. “Weighting just under 713g, the PalmTop is by far the smallest and lightest notebook. It is easy to carry and fits comfortably in user’s palm. Fully equipped with a full QWETRY keyboard and based on power saving AMD TURION processor, the PalmTop enables you to stay connected while on the move,” added Samer Suheil.

    Furthermore, the PalmTop comes bundled with proprietary content portal; Nawaiya Content, accessible over Wi-Fi, 3G (HSDPA). The PalmTop connects to TV and renders all its content to the big screen seamlessly.
