ASRock to make cheap notebooks and nettop

Posted on Wednesday, March 04 2009 @ 00:11:09 CET by Thomas De Maesschalck

DigiTimes reports motherboard maker ASRock will introduce two entry-level notebooks by the end of April; the 12" M12 and the 15" M15. Both notebooks will be priced below $500, and they'll use either Intel Pentium or Celeron processors and multi-touch pads.

ASRock is also working on a 2.5-liter Intel Atom based nettop, this model will be priced under $300.
