NVIDIA raises GeForce MX4000 and FX5200 prices

Posted on Monday, November 01 2004 @ 13:11:26 CET by Thomas De Maesschalck

DigiTimes reports that NVIDIA has recently raised prices of its GeForce MX4000 and FX5200 graphics cores by about 5%. The reason for this price change is the current tight supply of entry-level graphics chips, including ATI's Radeon 9200.
Prior to the price hikes, the MX4000 and FX5200 were priced at around US$11 and US$17, respectively, the sources noted.
