Posted on Friday, March 13 2009 @ 20:07:47 CET by

MSI introduced the Wind Nettop CS120, this little desktop system features the Intel Atom 230 1.6GHz processor and has a slot-loading DVD burner. The CS120 nettop uses the Intel 945GC IGP chipset + ICH7 southbridge and supports DDR2 533MHz memory, two 3.5" Serial ATA II devices, 7.1 channel HD audio and Gigabit Ethernet LAN. It also has a 4-in-1 memory card reader, optional 802.11b/g WiFi, headphone and microphone connectors, VGA-out and six USB 2.0 ports.

The MSI Wind Nettop CS120 measures 300mm x 65mm x 240mm (H x W x D) - it's about 83 percent smaller of a typical desktop PC. Besides a small form factor, the system is also tiny in noise and power consumption. MSI claims the power consumption of the CS120 is just 35W at full speed operation, with a noise level is just 30dBa.
