NVIDIA GeForce GTS 250 doing better than expected

Posted on Saturday, March 14 2009 @ 00:30:44 CET by Thomas De Maesschalck

While most tech enthusiasts don't really like all the GPU rebranding we've seen in the past couple of weeks, FUD Zilla heard from NVIDIA partners that the GeForce GTS 250 is selling better than they had anticipated:
The 512MB GTS 250 cards start at €125 or more, but it's under a lot of pressure coming from ATI's Radeon HD 4870 512MB, which is available for €150 in German and UK etail. Radeon 4870 512MB is the faster of two.

The Geforce GTS25 1GB version is selling for €143 and more but some people believe that the GTS250 brand is worth spending money on.
