Popular iTunes songs get more expensive
| |
Posted on Wednesday, April 08 2009 @ 19:47:54 CEST by Thomas De Maesschalck |
The new pricing structure Apple announced in January for its iTunes music store went into effect this week. The price of popular songs has been increased to $1.29 and most other songs still cost $0.99.
Steve Jobs promised three months ago many more songs would be available for 69 cents than $1.29, but it's exactly the opposite. Songs priced at 69 cents appear to be very scarce.
