NVIDIA selling G98 keychains for $9.99

Posted on Monday, April 13 2009 @ 20:13:46 CEST by Thomas De Maesschalck

Looking for an unique keychain? NVIDIA might just have what you're looking for in their online shop, the GPU firm is selling keychains with G98 chips for $9.99.

The NVIDIA Chip Clear Lucite Keychain is a 1.5" square with a genuine G98 GPU inside, with NVIDIA logo engraved on the IHS. Has NVIDIA just found an alternative way to get rid of excess inventory or to monetize defective GPUs? I don't know, but hopefully they will debut more of these keychains because the GeForce 8400 GS (G98) is a pretty boring chip.
