Posted on Friday, April 24 2009 @ 19:51:59 CEST by Thomas De Maesschalck

Patriot Memory has introduced a new triple channel DDR3 (PVT36G2000LK) memory kit with a frequency of 2000MHz and 8-8-8-24 timings:
Designed specifically for the Intel® Core™ i7 processor/Intel® X58 Express Chipset, the Patriot Viper 2000MHz 6GB kit has been built to excel for the Core™ i7 triple channel technology. The Patriot Viper 2000MHz kits are hand tested extensively on X58 motherboards to ensure maximum compatibility and supreme quality. The kits will be offered in 6GB kits and come in Cas Latency 8-8-8-24.

"At these speeds, your system is just missing wings to fly," says Saeed Arash Far, Patriot's Technical Engineering Manager. "If you are a gaming enthusiast, the 2000 MHz Viper will be a perfect compliment to your Intel® Core™ i7."
