ASUS to debut Ion nettop in Q3 2009

DigiTimes heard ASUS is considering to launch NVIDIA Ion based netbooks and nettops, industry sources told the site that ASUS has recently started testing related samples. The report claims ASUS is planning to launch an Ion-based Eee Box B1006 nettop in the third quarter of this year.Asustek plans to launch an Ion-based Eee Box B1006 in the third quarter of 2009, but has not yet set a schedule for netbooks, the sources said.
